2024 Battle of the Bands

Join the battle and earn an opening spot on the Blue Light Lubbock stage on 4/30!  Up to ten bands will compete to raise the most money for Team Luke Hope for Minds. The donations will provide critical financial assistance to families of children with brain injuries. The first place winner will be invited to open at Blue Light in Lubbock. See below for additional prizes.

The rules: Bands will be assigned fundraising pages to help fundraise for Team Luke Hope for Minds – whoever raises the most money through donations wins. Bands will need to commit to raise at least $100.

The timeline: Bands will begin fundraising on February 25th, and the winner will be decided on  March 25th at noon.

A fundraising page will be created for each band. Email Ronda at ronda@TeamLukeHopeforMinds.org for information or questions.

Additional Details:

      • A “band” can be a solo artist, duo, or full band.  Bands do not need to be local and can be any genre.
      • Team Luke Hope for Minds will feature each band on our social media channels to assist with overall fundraising and awareness.
      • Bands must provide band details, graphics and audio to be used on the fundraising page and social media feature.

First Place

Opportunity to open for a band at Blue Light in Lubbock on 4/30

3 hours of recording time, as well as Mixing & Mastering packages at MC Audio Studios

A table at our Inspiring Hope Dinner & Concert with Pat Green & Cory Morrow on 4/3/24

Opportunity to meet Pat Green & Cory Morrow

Second Place

2 hours of recording time, as well as Mixing & Mastering packages at MC Audio Studios

General admission tickets for each band member +1 for the Inspiring Hope Dinner & Concert with Pat Green & Cory Morrow

Third Place

1 hour of recording time, as well as Mixing & Mastering packages at MC Audio Studios

General admission tickets for each band member +1 for the Inspiring Hope Dinner & Concert with Pat Green & Cory Morrow

*If a band doesn’t get 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place but raises $350 or more, they will receive general admission tickets for each band member for the Inspiring Hope Dinner & Concert with Pat Green & Cory Morrow
