Dr. Eliopoulos will go over the current understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of cellular therapy, talk about different types of cellular therapy, cover different aspects of these therapies when applied to Central Nervous System Injury and finally go over some case studies.

 

About Vassily T. Eliopoulos, M.D.:

Dr. Eliopoulos is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT where he earned a BS with Honors in Neuroscience. He then served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Solomon Islands, South Pacific before attending the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City where he earned his MD. Dr. Eliopoulos did his postgraduate medical training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in General Surgery and at Denver Health Medical Center for Emergency Medicine. Dr. Eliopoulos is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and has practiced for over a decade in Emergency Medicine. Dissatisfaction with the traditional medical model led Dr. Eliopoulos to pursue an alternative way of practicing medicine. Dr. Eliopoulos retrained in Regenerative and Functional Medicine and now practices almost exclusively in these fields.
