Age At Accident

9 months old

At the age of 9 months, Seth was diagnosed with shaken baby syndrome and a traumatic brain injury after being shaken violently and hit in the head by his sitter. He has experienced bad seizures his whole life.

Seth is now 16 and Team Luke Hope for Minds funded service dog training, teaching the dog to alert someone if Seth has a seizure, providing Seth with more freedom and independence.

“The help that we have received from Team Luke Hope for Minds is literally a lifesaver,” said Seth’s mother Valerie. “This will give everyone that loves Seth a little peace of mind. I can’t begin to thank you enough!”
