Meet Gabriel.

Gabriel Hernandez was severely injured in a dirt bike accident, which resulted in a
severe TBI, four facial fractures and several other related injuries. He was unresponsive and on a ventilator for a week. Once awake, Gabriel began to re-learn how to walk, eat and take care of his hygiene. He was nonverbal for three weeks. Gabriel continues to battle short-term memory loss, impulsiveness, and anger.

Gabrielʼs mother reached out to Team Luke Hope for Minds after losing her job due to Gabrielʼs need for 24/7 care and safety. TLHFM was able to provide the Hernandez family with financial assistance, as well as emotional support. “Ronda [with TLHFM] has been so amazing through this rough road that my family is dealing with at this time,” Mrs. Hernandez said. “I canʼt thank her enough for being such a good listener, helping with resources like speaking to a therapist, and always making me feel good knowing someone understands and cares about our situation.”
